MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: U.S. Route 160 Bridge CLOSED over Beaver Creek in Kissee Mills - CANCELED

During Daytime Hours August 2-5 & 9-12

What: U.S. Route 160 Bridge CLOSED over Beaver Creek in Kissee Mills

When: 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, August 2-5 & 9-12. Roadway OPEN at night. CANCELED

Details: Crews will be taking rock and soil samples underneath the bridge requiring drilling equipment to be stationed on the bridge. Emergency services and first responders have been notified of the closure.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Route 160 Bridge CLOSED over Beaver Creek in Kissee Mills
  • Road OPEN at night, Fridays and weekends
  • Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the bridge, but will not be able to travel over the bridge
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
