August 18 & 19 For Seal Coat Work
Where: Webster County Route B between Marshall Street in Rogersville and Webster County Route AD
When: 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday & Thursday, August 18 & 19
What: MoDOT crews sealing pavement with a mixture of rock and oil
Traffic Impacts:
- Drivers can expect one-lane traffic with flaggers and a pilot vehicle guiding them through the work zones. Drivers on side roads are encouraged to wait for the pilot vehicle before entering the state routes.
- Drivers may be stopped for up to 15 minutes
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
- Local residents will be able to get to driveway and entrances along the road
- Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Additional Information: A seal coat is an economical way to maintain and preserve the roadway. The treatments keep a road from deteriorating and will extend its life.
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
