MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Nighttime Ramp Closure at Eastbound I-44 (Mile Marker 6) On-Ramp

Where: Eastbound I-44 (mile marker 6) on-ramp at Missouri Routes 43 and 86 in Joplin

When: 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. Tuesday, December 21

What: Contractor crews to close ramp to repair guardrail

Traffic Impacts:

• Ramp CLOSED to traffic during nighttime hours where crews are working
• Ramp open during daytime hours
• Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
• Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
