MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Nighttime I-44 Ramp Closures in Springfield Monday - Tuesday, January 10-11

Where/When:

• Westbound I-44 to Missouri Route 13/Kansas Expressway (Exit 77) off ramp CLOSED in Springfield
  • 11 p.m. Monday, January 10 until 12 midnight Tuesday, January 11
• Eastbound I-44 to northbound U.S. Route 65 (Exit 82B) ramp CLOSED in Springfield
  • 1 a.m. – 2 a.m. Tuesday, January 11

What: Contractor crews to close ramp to repair guardrail

Traffic Impacts:

• Westbound I-44 to Route 13/Kansas Expressway (Exit 77) off ramp and Eastbound I-44 to northbound U.S. Route 65 (Exit 82B) ramp CLOSED to traffic during nighttime hours where crews are working
• I-44, Route 65 and Route 13/Kansas Expressway are open
• Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
• Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
