In Springfield February 21 for Sign Removal Work
What: Eastbound U.S. Route 60 (James River Freeway) traffic slowed and possibly stopped for a short period of time east of Glenstone Avenue
When: Beginning at 9 p.m. and lasting up to 15 minutes on Monday, February 21
Details: Contractor crews to remove tress and sign over eastbound Route 60 in Springfield. This is part of the U.S. ROUTE 60 (James River Freeway) Widening Project. For more information about this project, click here.
Traffic Impacts:
- Law enforcement officers slowing and stopping westbound Route 60 traffic for a short period of time
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
- Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
