Where: Main Street & Mt. Vernon Street (Missouri Route 14) Intersection OPEN in Nixa

When: 6:30 a.m. Thursday, August 25

What: Intersection work is part of the Mt. Vernon Street (Missouri Route 14) Widening Project in Nixa. Crews will be continuing work on Route 14 right of way west of Main Street.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Side streets and sidewalks CLOSED at times
  • Business entrances closed half at a time or closed one at a time, if two or more entrances exist
  • Drivers may encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
