Stone & Taney Counties – Drivers can expect lane closings on Missouri Route 265 west of Branson when contractor crews resurface the state route starting the week of September 26, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Missouri Route 265 will receive a new asphalt driving surface between Missouri Route 76 in Stone County west of Branson and just north of Missouri Route 165 in Taney County’s City of Branson. Work will be done during daytime hours.
Traffic Impacts:
- Lane closures on Route 265 where crews are resurfacing roadway
- Drivers will encounter flaggers and pilot cars directing them through the work zones. Drivers should wait for the pilot vehicle before proceeding through the work zones or before entering the work zones from a side road.
- Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
- During higher traffic volume times, expect occasional delays
- No signed detour
- Drivers may need to seek alternate routes to get to their destinations
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
APAC-Central of Springfield is doing the work for a low bid amount of $755,080.
The project is to be completed by October 13, 2022.
