MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: New Signal on Flash at U.S. Route 160 (West Bypass) and Seminole Street

Where: U.S. Route 160 (West Bypass) and Seminole Street In Springfield

When: Wednesday, June 7

What: Contractor will turn on the new signal on Route 160 (West Bypass) and Seminole Street. Signals will flash yellow for Route 160 (West Bypass) and flash red for the new section of Seminole Street. Contractor plans to open the new section of Seminole Street and make the signalized intersection fully functional on Wednesday, June 14.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Signals will flash yellow for Route 160 (West Bypass) traffic
  • Signals will flash red for Seminole Street traffic
  • New section of Seminole Street will remain CLOSED at Route 160 (West Bypass) until new functioning intersection is operational
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
