MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Expect Delays on Taney County Routes AA, FF & U

Where/When:

• Taney County Route FF between Missouri Route 76 in Taneyville and end of state maintenance
  • 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday, August 21
• Taney County Route AA between Missouri Route 76 in Taneyville and end of state maintenance
  • 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Tuesday, August 22
• Taney County Route U between Missouri Route 125 and end of state maintenance north of Missouri/Arkansas state line
  • 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday & Thursday, August 23 & 24

What: MoDOT crews to seal the road with a mixture of rock and oil. A seal coat is an economical way to maintain and preserve the roadway. The treatments keep a road from deteriorating and will extend its life. 

Traffic Impacts:

• Taney County Route FF between Missouri Route 76 in Taneyville and end of state maintenance Monday, August 21
• Taney County Route AA between Missouri Route 76 in Taneyville and end of state maintenance Tuesday, August 22
• Taney County Route U between Missouri Route 125 and end of state maintenance north of Missouri/Arkansas state line Wednesday & Thursday, August 23 & 24
• Drivers can expect one-lane traffic with flaggers and a pilot vehicle guiding them through the work zones. Drivers on side roads are encouraged to wait for the pilot vehicle before entering the state routes.
• Drivers may be stopped for up to 15 minutes
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
• Local residents will be able to get to driveway and entrances along the road
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
• Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
