Where/When: I-44 nighttime ramp Closures (mile marker 82) at U.S. Route 65 in north Springfield

  • Westbound I-44 to southbound U.S. Route 65 Ramp
    • 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday night, September 12
  • Southbound U.S. Route 65 to eastbound I-44 Ramp
    • 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday night, September 12
  • Westbound I-44 to Northbound U.S. Route 65 Ramp
    • 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Wednesday night, September 13

What: Contractor crews are installing new and more reflective signs to replace the current signs at various locations in Springfield. The new signs are being installed to comply with federal standards.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Westbound I-44 to southbound U.S. Route 65 Ramp in Springfield Tuesday night, September 12
  • Southbound U.S. Route 65 to eastbound I-44 Ramp in Springfield Tuesday night, September 12
  • Westbound I-44 to Northbound U.S. Route 65 Ramp in Springfield Wednesday night, September 13
  • I-44 and Route 65 are OPEN
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
