Missouri Route 14 Highway Widening in Christian

Where: Smalley Street CLOSED south of Missouri Route 14 (Mt. Vernon Street) in Nixa

When: 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday, September 18

What: Contractor crews to replace a pipe across Smalley Street as part of the Mt. Vernon Street (Route 14) Widening Project. This work was RESCHEDULED from August 28.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Smalley Street CLOSED south of Route 14 (Mt. Vernon Street) in Nixa
  • Route 14 (Mt. Vernon Street) Open
  • Drivers may encounter flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
  • Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zones, but will not be able to travel through the work zones
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
