Where: Eastbound U.S. Route 60 to Northbound U.S. Route 65 Flyover Bridge CLOSED In Springfield

When: 8 p.m. Friday, October 20 until 6 a.m. Monday, October 23

What: Contractor crews cleaning and sealing the bridge deck/driving surfaces on the U.S. Route 60 to Route 65 flyover bridge. The work is a preventative maintenance measure aimed at extending the life of the bridge. Work began October 13-16, but was delayed due to weather.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Eastbound U.S. Route 60 to Northbound U.S. Route 65 Flyover Bridge CLOSED In Springfield
  • Route 60 and Route 65 are Open
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
  • Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
  • Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
