JEFFERSON CITY - The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work planned in the mid-Missouri area Feb. 5 – 11. Weather conditions may postpone the scheduled work. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.
All Counties
Moving operations such as mowing, brush cutting, and pavement repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert for slow-moving equipment.
Boone County
I-70 – Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.
Callaway County
Missouri Route 94 – Roadside work planned Feb. 5 – 9. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route K – Roadside work planned Feb. 5 – 9. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Cole County
Route BB – Culvert pipe replacement planned Feb. 5 – 8 from Route HH to Missouri Route 17. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Cooper County
Route Z – Pavement repair planned Feb. 5 – 7. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.

Routes E, H, T, and DD – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 5 – 9. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route HH– Roadside work planned Feb. 5 – 9. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Missouri Route 8 – Roadside work planned Feb. 5 – 9 from the city of Steelville to the city of Berryman. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Missouri Route 49 – Roadside work planned Feb. 5 – 9 from Route 19 to the city of Viburnum. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route VV – Roadside work planned Feb. 5 – 9 from Route M to Beers Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Gasconade County
Route K – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 5 – 9. All lanes will be closed at several locations (changing daily) between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Route 19 – ADA upgrades to pedestrian facilities in the city of Hermann planned to begin Feb 5 - 9. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.
Howard County
Route 124 – Pavement repair planned Feb. 5 – 6 from Missouri Route 240 to Route Y. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route E – Pavement repair planned Feb. 5 – 6 from Missouri Route 87 to Missouri Route 5. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Missouri Route 87 – Roadside work planned Feb. 5 – 9 from Route AA to County Road 306. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route AA – Pavement repair planned Feb. 5 – 9 from Route 87 to Route E. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Laclede County
I-44 – Bridge maintenance planned at the Gasconade River Bridge. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Maries County
Missouri Route 133 – Culvert pipe replacement planned Feb. 5 - 9 in the city limits of Belle. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route P – Culvert pipe replacement planned Feb. 5 – 9 at County Road 440. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 28 – Bridge replacement continues at the Dry Fork Creek Bridge. The road is closed to all traffic and a signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.
Miller County
Missouri Route 42 – Culvert pipe replacement planned Feb. 5 - 9 from Pemberton Drive to Missouri Route 17. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Moniteau County
Business Route 50 – ADA upgrades to pedestrian facilities in the city of California planned to begin Feb 5 - 9. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 87 – ADA upgrades to pedestrian facilities in the city of California planned to begin Feb 5 - 9. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Osage County
Route HH – Pavement repair planned Feb. 5 – 8. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Phelps County
Routes C, H, and FF– Roadside work planned Feb. 5 – 9. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
I-44 – Bridge maintenance planned at the Little Piney Creek Bridge. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
I-44 – Road resurfacing and reconstruction continues from Exit 186 in Rolla to Exit 195 in St. James. Expect around-the-clock lane closures from U.S. Route 63 to Missouri Route 68. An 11-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in late September 2024.
Pulaski County
I-44 – Pavement repair planned Feb. 5 from mile marker 145 to 160. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 17 – Roadside work planned Feb. 5 - 8 from Route K to the city of Crocker. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route Z – Pavement repair planned Feb. 7 from Missouri Route 28 to Route J. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
I-44 – Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Roubidoux River Bridge. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.

Washington County
Route C – Culvert pipe replacement planned Feb. 5 – 8 between Route Z and Route Y. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route A – Bridge replacement planned at the Cyclone Hollow Bridge. The road is closed to all traffic and a signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2024.
