JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work planned in the mid-Missouri area Feb. 26 – March 3. Weather conditions may postpone the scheduled work. Many projects will include lane closures that could cause delays.
All Counties
Moving operations such as brush cutting, and pavement repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert for slow-moving equipment.
Boone County
Route KK – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 26 - 29. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route K – Roadside work planned Feb. 26 – March 1 from Route KK to the end of state maintenance. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route DD – Utility work planned Feb. 26 – March 1 from Edwards Road to Nashville Church Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily. Work is being done by Callabyte Technology LLC under a MoDOT-issued permit.
Interstate-70 – Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.
Callaway County
Missouri Route 94 – Roadside work planned Feb. 26 – March 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route K – Roadside work planned Feb. 26 – March 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route BB – Bridge deck replacement project begins Feb. 26 at the Hillers Creek Bridge. The road will close to all traffic with a signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.
Cooper County
Route HH – Bridge replacement project continues at the Brush Creek Bridge. The road is closed to all traffic. Motorists need to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.
I-70 – Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.
Crawford County
Missouri Route 19 – Bridge maintenance planned Feb. 26 - March 1 over I-44 in Cuba. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 8 – Roadside work planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from the city of Steelville to the city of Berryman. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 49 – Roadside work planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from Route 19 to the city of Viburnum. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route 19 – Pavement marking planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from Route DD to Eldon Ave. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route 8 – Shoulder work planned Feb. 28 – March 1 at Berryman Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Routes H and DD – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 26 - March 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Routes H, M, DD and ZZ – Roadside work planned Feb. 26 – March 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route VV – Roadside work planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from Route M to Beers Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Dent County
Route H – Culvert pipe replacement planned Feb. 27 – March 1, 1 mile east of Route C. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Gasconade County
Route K – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 26 – March 1. All lanes will be closed at several locations (changing daily) between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Route 19 – ADA upgrades to pedestrian facilities in the city of Hermann through April 2024. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Howard County
Route E – Pavement repair planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from Missouri Route 87 to Missouri Route 5. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route AA – Pavement repair planned Feb. 26 – March 1 from Route 87 to Route E. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route 124 – Pavement repair planned Feb. 29 – March 1 from Missouri Route 240 to Route Y. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Laclede County
I-44 – Bridge maintenance planned Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. through Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Bear Creek Bridge, near mile marker 139 westbound. One lane will remain open.
Outer Route 44 (Evergreen Parkway) – Utility work planned Feb. 29 - March 1 from Industrial Drive to Lawson Ave. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. Work is being done by ADB under a MoDOT-issued permit.
Osage County
Missouri Route 100 – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 26 - 29 from U.S. Route 50 to Route C. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route HH – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 26 – 29. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Maries County
Missouri Route 28 – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 26 - March 1 in the city limits of Belle. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Missouri Route 133 – Culvert pipe replacements planned Feb. 26 - March 1 north of Missouri Route 42. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route 28 – Pavement repairs planned Feb. 26 - March 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route AA – Pavement repairs planned Feb. 26 - March 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route 28 – Bridge replacement continues at the Dry Fork Creek Bridge south of Belle. The road is closed to all traffic and a signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.
Moniteau County
Route B – ADA upgrades to pedestrian facilities in the city of Tipton are scheduled Feb 26. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Route 87 – Pavement repairs planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from U.S. Route 50 to Route AA. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route V – Pavement repairs planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from Sestak Road to Morrow Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route E – ADA upgrades to pedestrian facilities at School Street are scheduled to begin Feb 27 - March 1. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Morgan County
Route N – Pavement repairs planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from Route 52 to Route BB. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route T – Pavement repairs planned Feb. 26 - March 1 from Route 52 to Alabaster Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route T – Culvert replacement planned Feb. 29 from Missouri Route 52 to Fairground Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 135 – ADA upgrades to pedestrian facilities in the city of Stover are scheduled to begin Feb 26 - March 1. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
Phelps County
I-44 – Road resurfacing and reconstruction continues from Exit 186 in Rolla to Exit 195 in St. James. Expect around-the-clock lane closures from U.S. Route 63 to Missouri Route 68. An 11-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in late fall 2024.
Pulaski County
I-44 – Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Roubidoux Creek Bridge near mile marker 158.4. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.
I-44 – Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Big Piney River Bridge near mile marker 165.8. One lane will remain closed for the duration of the project between Exits 163 and 169. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2024.
Washington County
Missouri Route 21 – Shoulder work planned Feb. 26 - 27 from Cyclone Road to Route 47. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route 8 – Bridge maintenance planned Feb. 26 – March 1 at Old Highway 8. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Missouri Route 185 – Roadside work planned Feb. 26 – March 1 from Route T to Route N. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.
Route A – Bridge replacement continues at the Cyclone Hollow Bridge. The road is closed to all traffic and motorists will need to use an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2024.
