MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: U.S. Route 60 Nighttime Paving

Where:

• U.S. Route 60 at Kastendieck Road and Aster Road intersection south of Billings
• U.S. Route 60 at Missouri Route 413 intersection south of Billings
• U.S. Route 60 at Lawrence County Farm Road 1247 intersection in Marionville

When: 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. Monday-Friday, March 11-22

What: Contractor crews to pave Route 60 during nighttime hours at the following locations:

• Kastendeick and Aster Road to install new turn and acceleration lanes
• Route 413 to install a new turn lane
• County Road 1247 to install a new turn lane

All lanes of Route 60 OPEN during the weekend. Work is part of the Resurfacing Project on U.S. Route 60 and Railroad Crossing Improvements along U.S. Route 60 in Christian, Greene & Lawrence Counties.

Traffic Impacts:

• Route 60 nighttime lane closures
• Drivers will encounter lane closures and flaggers directing traffic through the work zone where crews are working
• Route 60 OPEN
• All lanes of Route 60 OPEN during the weekend
• Speed is reduced to 50 mph in the work zone
• Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
• Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
