JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – One lane of eastbound Interstate 70 will close tomorrow night, March 6, starting at 7 p.m. for pavement repairs near mile marker 135.8. Contractors working with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) plan to close the eastbound driving (right-hand) lane of I-70 just east of the Centralia/Route Z exit, east of Columbia. The lane will be closed overnight to allow the concrete to cure and is expected to reopen by 6 a.m. Thursday, March 7. Motorists may experience delays.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones.
