Pavement improvement project to begin next week on Route 133

More than 85 miles across multiple routes in four counties to be resurfaced

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo – A multi-route pavement improvement project that spans four counties is set to get underway next week. Construction crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) plan to start work on March 11 on Missouri Route 133.

Resurfacing will begin on Route 133 near the intersection of Missouri Route 52, with the paving crew working north to U.S. Route 63, near Westphalia. Another crew will then pave south from Route 52 to Missouri Route 17, near Crocker. One lane will remain open and flaggers with a pilot car will direct motorists through each work zone.

This project also includes resurfacing Routes EE and A in Osage County and Route 100 in Gasconade and Osage counties. The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded a $8,980,000 contract to Pace Construction Company for this work, which is anticipated to be completed by Nov. 1, 2024.

More information, including the planned schedule of work, can be found here: https://www.modot.org/routes-133-and-100-pavement-resurfacing-gasconade-maries-osage-and-pulaski-counties.

All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
