UPDATED SCHEDULE: Cooper County Route K to close next Tuesday for a culvert replacement

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation have rescheduled a planned closure tomorrow of Callaway County Route K near Blackwater due to the possibility of inclement weather.

The replacement of a culvert and full closure of Route K from Fray Street to County Park Avenue, on the west side of Blackwater, is now scheduled for Tuesday, March 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones.
