MoDOT: Resurfacing Missouri Route 73 in Dallas & Camden Counties Beginning the Week of June 3

Dallas & Camden Counties – Drivers can expect lane closures and occasional traffic delays on Missouri Route 73 in Dallas and Camden Counties for a resurfacing project beginning the week of June 3, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Missouri Route 73 will receive a new asphalt driving surface between U.S. Route 65 near Buffalo and Route 54 north of Branch. The project includes installing edge line, seal shoulders, guardrail, and road markings in various locations. Crews will work hours of 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. from Monday - Friday.

  • Missouri Route 73 between U.S. Route 65 near Buffalo and Route 54 north of Branch

Traffic Impacts:

  • Route 73 lane closures where contractor crews are laying asphalt
  • Route 73 Open
  • Drivers may encounter flaggers at intersections of Route 73 where crews are working
  • Drivers on Route 13 will encounter flaggers and pilot cars directing them through the work zone. Drivers should wait for the pilot vehicle before proceeding through the work zones or before entering the work zones from a side road.
  • No signed detour
  • Drivers should find alternate routes
  • Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
