Where: Northbound U.S. Route 65 CLOSED at Night north of Missouri Route 14 (Jackson Street) in Ozark
When: 10 p.m. Sunday, February 16, to 6 a.m. to Monday, February 17
What: Contractor crews will install a storm drain pipe under U.S. Route 65 as part of the U.S. Route 65 Highway Widening in Christian County project. Northbound Route 65 lane closures will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday night, February 16 to begin work. Both lanes of northbound Route 65 CLOSED begin at 10 p.m. Sunday, February 16, and continue until 6 a.m. Monday morning, February 17. Work was RESCHEDULED from February 9.
Traffic Impacts:
- Northbound Route 65 lane Closures will begin at 7 p.m. Sunday night, February 16, north of Route 14 (Jackson Street) in Ozark
- Northbound Route 65 full CLOSURE will begin at 10 p.m. Sunday, February 16, and continue until 6 a.m. Monday morning, February 17, north of Route 14 (Jackson Street)
- Drivers will encounter law enforcement present to direct traffic from northbound Route 65 to Route 14 (Jackson Street) during the northbound Route 65 Closure
- Southbound Route 65 is Open to two 10-foot lanes
- No signed detours, drivers are urged to find alternate routes
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers to work zone and inform the public when there is reduced speeds and traffic delays
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule
