SIKESTON—Route E in New Madrid County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Otter Slough.
This section of roadway is located between County Road 829 and County Road 845 near Morehouse, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Feb. 17 with completion anticipated by Sunday, May 18. This road will remain closed until work is completed.
The work zone will be marked with signs and a detour will be in place. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
