LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Feb. 3-7. All work is weather permitting.
JACKSON COUNTY
U.S. Highway 40 westbound at Little Blue Parkway: right lane closed on Mon., Feb. 3, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., for ditch work.
US-40 eastbound at Cliff Dr.: right lane closed on Tue., Feb. 4 and Wed., Feb. 5, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., for ditch work.
Missouri Highway 291 outer road between SW Stuart Rd. and SW Hook Rd.: flagging operation on Thu., Feb. 6 and Fri., Feb. 7, from approximately 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., for ditch work.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Missouri Highway 13 between Route PP and SE 600 Rd.: various lane closures from Mon., Feb. 3 through Fri., Feb. 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route O between Route HH and Route N: various sectioned closures from Mon., Feb. 3 until Fri., Feb. 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for brush cutting.
SALINE COUNTY
Missouri Highway 240 between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 41 South: various lane closures from Mon., Feb. 3 through Fri., Feb. 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pothole patching.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
