JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Construction is scheduled to start next week on the Missouri Route 8 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad in Washington County, near Potosi. S & A Equipment & Builders, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plans to begin the bridge rehabilitation project on March 3, 2025. One lane of the bridge will remain open during construction, with temporary signals in place to direct traffic. The project is expected to be complete in September 2025.
